Jun 29, 2018 (newstodate): The Lithuanian leisure carrier Small Planet Airlines is soon to take delivery of its fifth Airbus A321 aircraft.
The new ex-Monarch Airlines aircraft, due to enter commercial service with the carrier by early July 2018, will be placed with Small Planet Airlines Poland that is also the case with the preceding four A321 aircraft that were all delivered in summer 2016.
While the first four Airbus A321 aircraft were acquired on a long-term operating lease agreement with AviaAM Leasing, the latest aircraft has been sourced from the AerCap leasing company.
In the fleet of Small Planet Airlines Poland will thus be 10 aircraft including five Airbus A320 and now five Airbus A321 aircraft.
Serving the Polish charter market since 2009 and starting out with two aircraft, Small Planet Airlines Poland is today firmly rooted in the Polish market with 10 aircraft on Polish AOC and offering flights out of a number of Polish airports for Polish tour operators, with seat-only sales as a complement.
