Jun 15, 2018 (newstodate): The Danish aircraft lessor Nordic Aviation Capital is again delivering new aircraft to the Polish carrier LOT.
The latest aircraft lease contract comprises four Embraer E190 aircraft to LOT for operations on the regional network.
The new aircraft will also serve the opening of LOT's coming opening of flights from Warsaw to London City Airport from January 2019 which will add two daily frequencies complementing the three daily flights by LOT into London Heathrow.
With this aircraft lease contract LOT becomes the first airline to operate all four variants of E-Jets in their fleet.
In 2004, LOT was the first operator of the E-170. By the end of this year, LOT will be operating six E-170, 12 E-175s, four E-190s, and 12 E-195 aircraft.
Earlier this month, LOT also took in two Bombardier Q400 aircraft on a short-term lease contract with NAC.
