Jun 13, 2018 (newstodate): Beirut-based carrier Wings of Lebanon is now ready to add Denmark to its route network.
Starting from June 15, 2018, the carrier will operate a weekly rotation on the route between Beirut and Billund Airport, in Denmark, with Boeing 737-700/-300 aircraft depending on the booking figures.
The route will be operated with direct flights till September 2018.
-We are already serving Gothenburg, Malmo and Stockholm in Sweden, also on a seasonal basis, says Naji Majdalani, Wings of Lebanon General Manager.
-Today, all three Swedish routes are also served seasonally only, but we would indeed be happy to turn the twice-weekly Stockholm service into year-round flights. Only this route is very difficult to operate as passenger volumes are still too low to make this profitable, says Mr Majdalani.
Wings of Lebanon is a privately-owned Lebanese airline, owned by the Nakhal group, offers seasonal international passenger services from its main base at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.
