Jun 05, 2018 (newstodate): Cargo iQ, an IATA interest group set up to creating and implementing quality standards for the global air cargo industry, has named a new Vice-chairman.
Taking up the prestigious position is a well-known figure in Scandinavia's cargo industry - Danish national Henrik Ambak, Emirates SVP, Cargo Operations Worldwide.
Mr Ambak took up his seat at Emirates in December 2014, coming in from almost 14 years with Cargolux, last serving as VP Ground Services and IT.
Prior to that, Mr Ambak found his way into Scandinavia's air cargo industry serving in various positions at the former Cargo Center Copenhagen that launched business at Copenhagen Airport in 1999.
