Jun 11, 2018 (newstodate): A new carrier under formation, FlyBosnia has had to postpone its launch of services, earlier planned for June, 2018.
The carrier has still not obtained its AOC and is forced to push back the start of commercial services between Sarajevo and Riyadh till at least August.
The first batch of cabin and cockpit crew staff has certified and the airline will start out with Airbus A320 aircraft first on routes from Sarajevo to Riyadh and Jedda, later adding also flights to other destinations to be announced once the AOC is secured.
Behind the new carrier is the al-Shiddi Group, the largest Saudi investor in Bosnia and Herzegovina and operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2006.
