Jun 01, 2018 (newstodate): A growth in exports secured a growth in cargo volumes in May 2018 at Denmark's Billund Airport.
The airport handled a total of 6,300 tonnes of cargo in May, an increase by 3.4 percent, y-o-y, with exports in the lead with 4,173 tonnes, up 6.2 percent.
Imports, however, lagged behind with 2,127 tonnes, down 1.7 percent.
In January-May 2018 the airport has thus seen its total volumes up by 5.4 percent, including 19,384 tonnes of exports, up 6.7 percent, and 10,210 tonnes of imports, up 2.9 percent, y-o-y.
