Jun 15, b2018 (newstodate): EU has issued a revised version of its Air Safety List.
One good news on this occasion is that all airlines certified in Indonesia are cleared from the list, following further improvements to the aviation safety situation that was ascertained in the country.
All Indonesian carriers were put on the EU Air Safety List in 2007 due to unaddressed safety concerns.
The new list, out on June 14, 2018, contains 119 airlines that are fully, or partly, banned from operations into EU airspace.
By far the largest proportion of these airlines are registered in Africa, but airlines registered in Kyrgyzstan are still on the list as well, as together with airlines in Iran and Iraq.
