May 17, 2018 (newstodate): With the inaugural flight on May 15, 2018, the Polish carrier LOT has now reopened its route to Singapore.
LOT is thus offering three rotations increasing to four weekly rotations from July 2018 on the non-stop route between Warsaw and Singapore with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
This marks the fourth Asian destination on the carrier's network after the opening of flights from Warsaw to Beijing from May 29, 2012, to Tokyo Narita from January 13, 2016, and to Seoul Incheon from October 16, 2016.
The route opening also marks the carrier's return to Singapore after a lapse of 23 years.
From October 1988, LOT provided flights between Warsaw and Singapore with an Ilyushin IL-62 aircraft routed Warsaw Tashkent Bangkok Singapore.
The last flights were routed Warsaw Bangkok Singapore from October 1992, until finally suspended from March 1995.
