May 03, 2018 (newstodate): The carrier Ukraine International Airlines has now launched its new long-haul route connecting Ukraine and India.
The first flight was performed on May 1, 2018, and the airline is now offering three weekly rotations on the route with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
Already from June 7, 2018, a fourth weekly rotations will be introduced between Kiev Boryspil Airport and Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, connecting to onward flights on UIA's European route network.
UIA's route network now comprises long-haul flights to Beijing, Bangkok, Colombo, Toronto and Delhi.
In February 2018, the carrier received the first of four Boeing 777-200ER aircraft that will gradually replace the current fleet of four Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, two of which were actually earlier operated by SAS.
