May 14, 2018 (newstodate): The carrier Ukraine International Airlines is now online on its new long-haul route connecting Ukraine and India.
The first flight was performed on May 1, 2018, and the airline is offering three weekly rotations on the route with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
Already from June 7, 2018, a fourth weekly rotations will be introduced between Kiev Boryspil Airport and Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport, connecting to onward flights on UIA's European route network.
To optimize the sale of the eight to ten tonnes of cargo capacity on the route, UIA has appointed ECS Globe Air Cargo India as its cargo GSSA with effect from May 1, 2018.
India's primary airfreight commodities include pharmaceuticals, leather goods, chemicals, machinery, and not least textiles.
