May 18, 2018 (newstodate): The first carrier to bring the new Airbus A350-900 into the Nordic markets will be Qatar Airways.
The debut will be on the route from Doha to Norway's Oslo Airport on October 29, 2018, at the start of the next winter schedule.
Qatar Airways will continue offering daily rotations on the route that was opened on October 5, 2011, operated five times weekly with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Flights on the route to Stockholm Arlanda from Doha International Airport were inaugurated from November 27, 2007, and Copenhagen, in Denmark, became a destination on the carrier's route map from March 30, 2010.
Qatar Airways Cargo introduced freighter service at Oslo Airport from January 29, 2013, seasonally going up to as many as 10-11 flights depending on market demands.
