May 31, 2018 (newstodate): Already the 2nd largest carrier at Helsinki Airport since 2015 in terms of flight operations, the LCC Norwegian is again to boost its flights from Finland.
Starting from November 30, 2018, Norwegian will add flights from Helsinki Airport to new destination Agadir, in Morocco, with a weekly rotation.
Also from the coming winter schedule, flight frequencies on routes from Helsinki to Malaga, Marrakech, London and Krakow, with flights to Malaga to increase from nine to 16 weekly rotations.
In total the new destination and the increase in frequencies on existing routes will boost Norwegian's capacity in the Finnish market by 42 percent in W'2018.
Norwegian started serving the Finnish capital on April 29, 2010, with flights from Oslo and Stockholm, bolstering its presence in the Finnish market by setting up an operational base at Helsinki Airport from the start of the summer schedule 2011.
The carrier is now offering flights from Helsinki Airport to about 40 destinations.
