May 17, 2018 (newstodate): The global leader in turboprop aircraft leasing, the Danish company Nordic Aviation Capital has now taken over all aircraft in the fleet of Aldus Aviation Fund.
On April 15, 2016, NAC announced the acquisition of the Irish aviation leasing company Aldus Aviation Limited, a specialist in Embraer E-Jet operating leases.
Aldus has since been operating under the NAC brand, cementing NAC's position as one of the largest players in the large regional jet and turboprop aircraft sector.
Aldus added a further 29 E-jets that are currently on lease to nine airlines including HOP!, Flybe and Royal Air Maroc
This latest acquisition brings NAC's owned fleet to a total of 413 aircraft.
