May 30, 2018 (newstodate): The Lithuanian ACMI carrier Avion Express - the country's largest airline - has now completed this year's plans for fleet expansion.
The latest addition to the fleet consists of three Airbus A320 aircraft, bringing the fleet to a total of 18 Airbus A320 Family aircraft including one A319, 12 A320 and five A321 aircraft.
Avion Express is the largest narrow-body ACMI operator in the world working with clients in Europe, South America and Asia-Pacific region.
Avion Express traces its history back to 2005 as Nordic Solutions Air Services that operated SAAB 340 cargo and passenger aircraft.
In 2008, Avion Capital Partners, established by David Masson, became the major shareholder and the company was re-branded as Avion Express, introducing its first Airbus 320 passenger aircraft.
