May 11, 2018 (newstodate): Denmark's Copenhagen Airport has now formed its new team reporting to Morten Mortensen, Copenhagen Airport Director Airline Sales & Route Development, for marketing and sale of the airport as a cargo destination.
Taking on the role as Copenhagen Airport Air Cargo Manager from June 11, 2018, is Lars Gotfredsen, bringing in rich experience from 32 years with SAS Cargo, last serving since May 2007 as Head of Sales Nordic, responsible for SAS Cargo sales in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Already from June 7, 2018, the team takes form with Kaspar Andreas Nissen joining as Air Cargo Specialist.
Mr Nissen draws on eight years of cargo experience from SAS Cargo, Qatar Airways Cargo in Doha and most recently as Air Freight Forwarding Agent for LEMAN Spedition.
Supporting the new Air Cargo Team at Copenhagen Airport will also be Marianne Juul who has served as Copenhagen Airport Air Cargo Manager from October 15, 2016, but is now winding down actitivies.
The fresh resources allocated to the airport's cargo business will add momentum to the plans to commissioning of a new 20,000 sq m cargo center within two years, announced by the end of 2017, as part of a new cargo strategy.
