Apr 09, 2018 (newstodate): Russia's Krasnoyarsk Yemelyanovo Airport has announced plans for establishing an international transport and logistics and production center at the airport premises.
Focusing on its pivotal geographical position as a connecting points for cargo traffic between South East Asia and Europe, the aiport plans to build new warehouse complexes, launch multimodal transportation models, establish enterprises focused on the production of high-value-added products, and build a sorting center for e-trade commodities.
The airport is now seeking commitments from international cargo carriers and claims AirBridgeCArgo as its first partner to the new business model.
Details will be presented at the forthcoming two-days Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, starting on April 12, 2018.
