The carrier has announced its plans for start of flights between Amman Queen Alia International Airport and Copenhagen Airport from June 3, 2018, offering three weekly rotations with Airbus A320 aircraft.
Royal Jordanian has now launched a campaign, "Hej Copenhagen", in Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Egypt to lure passengers to the new route, offering benefits including double miles points, extra baggage allowance and other fringes for flights during the period June 3 and December 15, 2018.
Copenhagen Airport will become Royal Jordanian's 45th destination and its first station in the Scandinavian region.
Through its subsidiary Royal Wings, the carrier has actually been performing charter flights between Copenhagen Airport and Aqaba, and the operation has paved the way for the start of scheduled services.
Royal Jordanian was earlier serving flights to Copenhagen until the early 90'ies.
