Apr 25, 2018 (newstodate): Air India has seen a successful start to its new route between Delhi and Copenhagen, now planning for expansion of the service.
Already from May 11, 2018, Air India will introduce a fourth weekly rotation on the route operated with Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
The carrier launched flights to Copenhagen with three weekly rotations from September 16, 2017, after a lengthy evaluation process.
In Copenhagen, Air India has signed SAS Group's handling subsidiary SGH for passenger handling while WFS is the carrier's cargo handling partner.
Air India currently operates direct flights to European destinations including Stockholm, Madrid, Vienna, Paris, Frankfurt, London, Rome, Birmingham and Milan.
