Apr 09, 2018 (newstodate): Lithuanian carrier Avion Express has named a new CEO: Darius Kajokas.
Mr Kajokas took up his new office from April 1, 2018, replacing Gardar Forberg who remains on the Board as one of the owners of the company.
Mr Kajokas is no newcomer to the company, however, having served as Avion Express Deputy CEO since August 2017 after holding positions in the financial sectors of various companies and institutions.
In the fleet of Avion Express are now 18 Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
In 2010 Avion Express based at Vilnius Airport was acquired by French investment company Eyjafjoll SAS, formed by Avion Capital Partners of Switzerland, established in 2009 by David Masson and Gardar Forberg, both earlier with the Icelandic company Avion Aircraft Trading.
