Apr 27, 2018 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has appointed Skytech-AIC as finance arranger for the sale and leaseback of its coming batch of six new Bombardier CS300 aircraft.
The aircraft will be delivered successively from June 2018 with the last to arrive from Bombardier's production plant before the end of the year, bringing the carrier CS300 fleet to a total of 14 aircraft in 2018, and plans are to have 20 CS300 aircraft operating by the end of 2019, which will complete the original order.
So far, only one of the six new CS300 aircraft are visible on the list of Bombardier's final assembly line production.
Introducing the first CS300 on scheduled flights from December 14, 2016, the carrier has now completed more than 9,069 flights with one mio passengers and flown over 23,603 block hours.
