Apr 30, 2018 (newstodate): Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek Manas Airport serving the country's capital reports a strong growth in cargo volumes in 2017.

After the pull-out from Afghanistan of the US forces till then transiting cargo at the airport, Manas Airport took a deep dip in cargo volumes as the Kyrgyz government closed down Manas Transit Center from July 2014, failing to realize the much-heralded dreams for its conversion into a cargo transit hub.
