A total of 125,000 passengers were carried by the airline, which is an increase by 17 percent, y-o-y, and corresponding to a market share in Estonia by 25 percent.
During the current summer schedule, Nordica will add three news destinations to its route map - flights from Tallinn to Constanţa in Romania and Ohrid in Macedonia as well as to Copenhagen from April 27, 2018, with 11 weekly rotations on the route operated with CRJ-700 aircraft.
In the fleet of Nordica will be 19 aircraft, of which four ATR 72-600 are operating for SAS under the brand name of Regional Jet - Nordica's capacity provider.
Set up in the aftermath of the demise of Estonian Air, Nordic Aviation, later renamed Nordica, performed its first flight on November 8, 2015.
Competing in the Estonian market with Nordica is the Latvian carrier airBaltic that will be serving nine destinations by direct non-stop flights from Tallinn Airport after allocating from October 28, 2018, a second Bombardier Q400 aircraft at Tallinn Airport to support the opening of flights on two new routes to Stockholm and Oslo.
In addition, airBaltic also offers flights from Tallinn via transfer options at Riga Airport.
