Apr 09, 2018 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time reports full order books for the summer season and even into November 2018.
Operating a fleet comprising six Boeing 737-700 aircraft as well as managing three Boeing 737-800 aircraft owned by TUI, the carrier has now landed an ACMI contract with SAS taking effect from April 15, 2018, and comprising a series of Boeing 737-700 flights from Copenhagen Airport to seven destinations in Scandinavia and Europe until medio May 2018.
Since March 25, 2018, Jet Time is also operating for Finnair under an ACMI contract till medio June 2018, comprising flights from Helsinki to Budapest, Vienna and Berlin.
Jet Time was on the brink of collapse before installing a new CEO, Jorgen Holme from June 1, 2016, tasked with a total turn-around of the company cutting two of four business areas, Boeing Cargo and ATR ACMI, to focus solely on charter and ACMI passenger operations with a single aircraft-type fleet.
