Apr 03, 2018 (newstodate): Since 2015, the Chinese carrier Beijing Capital Airlines has been licensed by CAAC to launch services to Helsinki, Finland. But the opening of flights remains long in the waiting...
The carrier has now once again delayed its planned start of flights on the route between Beijing and Helsinki, now slated for June 29, 2018, against June 22, 2018, as earlier noted.
If eventually realized, the carrier will offer three weekly rotations on the route with Airbus A330-200, but bookings are still not admitted in the carrier's system.
The plans were first aired already in September 2015 with start of services by winter 2015 - which however did not materialize.
Beijing Capital Airlines next announced plans to launch flights from Beijing to Helsinki from May 2017 with two weekly rotations using Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which also did not happen.
