Apr 17, 2018 (newstodate): American Airlines is opening several new routes to central Europe in 2018, and has named its cargo GSSAs to provide sales and marketing in these markets.
American Airlines has thus appointed Strike Aviation AG as its Cargo GSSA for its new direct flight from Prague to Philadelphia as well as offline Cargo GSSA for Bulgaria, Romania and the Slovak Republic, connecting Romania and the Slovak Republic markets by truck feeder services to Prague and the carrier's other European Gateways .
Earlier, American Airlines named the Hungarian GSSA R-Bag to provide cargo sales and marketing services in Slovenia and Croatia, including operating scheduled road feeder services connecting points in these regions with American Airlines' flights.
The carrier will use Boeing 767-300 aircraft on the routes to Budapest and Prague.
American Airlines will start services from Philadelphia to Budapest, and Prague; from Chicago OHare to Venice; and from Dallas/Fort Worth to Reykjavik in April, May and June 2018, respectively.
