Mar 09, 2018 (newstodate): SAS Cargo's handling partner Spirit Air Cargo Handling has now completed the CEIV certification process at all three Scandinavian hubs Copenhagen, Oslo and Arlanda.
By the end of January 2018, Spirit Air Cargo Handling, the SAS Group's fully-owned subsidiary, completed IATA's CEIV Pharma Certification process as the first of the three hub cargo facilities, and the CEIV certification of the two other SAS hubs at Stockholm and Oslo has also now been completed according to SAS Cargo's website.
Earlier, SAS Cargo received its formal CEIV certification from IATA on July 31, 2017, rendering the carrier fully capable of handling pharmaceuticals and other high-yield sensitive shipments requiring enhanced quality and special procedures.
