Mar 01, 2018 (newstodate): The Nordic/Baltic carrier Primera Air, based at Riga in Latvia, is preparing for launch of several routes from its coming new base at Birmingham, UK.
Flight operations from Birmingham will start on May 14 to Malaga and Palma, flights to New York will be launched on May 18, and flights to Toronto will commence on June 23, 2018.
Flights to Crete will start from July 30 and to Barcelona on October 1, 2018.
Flights to New York will be operated four times weekly and to Toronto three times per week.
Flights to Malaga, Palma and Barcelona will be operated daily, and flights to will be operated once weekly.
In the fleet of Primera Air are now seven Boeing 737-800 and two Boeing 737-700 aircraft, and orders have been placed for 10 Airbus aircraft including two Airbus A321LR for delivery in Q4, 2018, and eight Airbus A321Neo also slated for delivery in 2018.
