Mar 13, 2018 (newstodate): Billund Airport's CEO, Kjeld Zacho Jorgensen has announced his decision to leave the position from the end of May 2018.
Mr Jorgensen, Billund Airport CEO since April 2010, has seen the airport's passenger volumes growing from 2,574,340 in 2010 to a record-high 3,375,363 in 2017, and cargo volumes up from 61,568 tonnes to 72,470 tonnes in 2017, also a record in this business.
Mr Jorgensen's demise will not, however, open up for fresh applicants as the Board has decided to fill the seat with Jan Hessellund, currently serving as Billund Airport CCO since March 2013.
