Mar 20, 2018 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport is seeing cargo volumes lifting in 2018.
In February 2018, a total of 857 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport, an increase by 23.1 percent, y-o-y.
Adding to the volumes in January where totals were up 21, 39 percent, the airport has thus seen this year's cargo up by 22.21 percent, to 1,799 tonnes.
In 2017, the airport managed a 7.2 percent increase in cargo volumes to a total of 9,739 tonnes including 7,955 tonnes of cargo and 1,784 tonnes of mail.
Cargo volumes increased by six percent, y-o-y, while mail volumes rose by 12 percent in 2017.
