Mar 27, 2018 (newstodate): In January-February 2018, Russian airlines saw their combined cargo volumes up by 5.4 percent, y-o-y, to 115,286 tonnes.
Measured in volumes, the five largest contributors were AirBridgeCargo with 82,211 tonnes, up 4.9 percent, y-o-y, Aeroflot with 29,858 tonnes and up 4.3 percent, S7 Sibir with 4,591 tonnes and up 2.1 percent, Pobeda with 4,442 tonnes and up 11 percent, and Rossiya with 4,156 tonnes, up 1.3 percent.
Together, these five airlines accounted for 80.2 percent of all cargo on Russian airlines during the first month of 2018.
The LCC Pobeda made its entry as #3 on the Top-5 list in January 2018, pushing Volga-Dnepr out of its traditional position on the list.
In January-February 2017, Pobeda lifted only 40 tonnes of cargo.
