Mar 06, 2018 (newstodate): In January 2018, Russian airlines saw their combined cargo volumes up by 10.2 percent, y-o-y, to 83,875 tonnes.
Measured in volumes, the five largest contributors were AirBridgeCargo with 46,092 tonnes, up 9.3 percent, y-o-y, Aeroflot with 16,445 tonnes and up 14.3 percent, Pobeda with 2,453 tonnes and up 42 percent, S7 Sibir with 2,097 tonnes and down 3.2 percent, and Rossiya with 1,983 tonnes, up 3.5 percent.
Together, these five airlines accounted for 82 percent of all cargo on Russian airlines during the first month of 2018.
With the LCC Pobeda as newcomer to the list, Volga-Dnepr was relegated to the position as #6 in January, with 1,871 tonnes, down 27.6 percent, y-o-y.
