Mar 20, 2018 (newstodate): Starting from May 18, 2018, Moscow Vnukovo Airport will land a new Chinese airline: Hong Kong Airlines.
A member of the HNA Group and set up in 2006, Hong Kong Airlines plans to offer three weekly rotations on the route between Hong Kong and Moscow with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
This is actually a restart of the efforts that were first realized with start of flights from Hong Kong to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport in 2010, but suspended again due to the world financial crisis.
Another member of the HNA Group, Hainan Airlines is already serving flights on the route between Hong Kong and Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport since March 19, 2009, also with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
