Mar 08, 2018 (newstodate): Qatar Airways has announced the opening of 12 new routes in 2018 - including one to the Baltic region.
The carrier is thus to launch flights to a Estonia's Tallinn Airport as the first carrier to offer a direct nonstop service from Estonia to the Gulf and M East region.
Flights will be performed with Airbus A320 aircraft, but frequency and other pertinent information is still to be announced.
In the neighboring Scandinavian region, Qatar Airways first entered Scandinavia with a route between Doha and Stockholm, Sweden, launched on November 27, 2007, adding the route between Doha and Copenhagen, Denmark, from March 30, 2010, and finally launching flights from Doha to Oslo, Norway, from October 5, 2011.
And with the first flight to Helsinki, Finland, on October 10, 2016, Qatar Airways rounded off its full offering of Nordic services.
