Mar 26, 2018 (newstodate): Finnair is depending on temporary ACMI charters to provide sufficient capacity for the summer schedule.
Finnair has thus contracted the Danish ACMI carrier Jet Time to operate a Boeing 737-700 aircraft on its European routes including flights from Helsinki to Finnair's Berlin, Budapest and Vienna.
The contract was signed in February 2018, and the aircraft has been positioned at Helsinki Airport from March 24, 2018, for services till June 7.
From June 8, 2018, Finnair has next contracted the Lithuanian carrier GetJet to operate an Airbus A320 aircraft on flights to Budapest, Berlin, Vienna, Prague, Krakow and Paphos until January 2019.
