In 2017, the total passenger throughput exceeded 1.1 billion, increasing 12.9 percent, y-o-y.
Chinese airlines lifted 1.04 billion people, up 13.4 percent, including 27.1 million carried by Chinese airlines on routes between mainland China and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, which was down 1.9 percent
On the other hand, international airlines transported a total of 111.7 million people to and from China, a growth by 9.2 percent, year on year.
China's air cargo turnover reached 16.2 million tonnes, up 7.1 percent, y-o-y.
Chinese carrier lifted 10 million tonnes, up 2.7 percent, including traffic by Chinese carriers from mainland China to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan accruing to 0.99 million tonnes, up 5.8 percent.
Cargo on international airlines to and from China was 6.18 million tonnes, an increase by 15.2 percent, y-o-y.
