Mar 14, 2018 (newstodate): The German subsidiary of Lithuania's charter and ACMI provider Small Planet Airlines is heading for a strong performance in summer 2018.
Established in May 2015 and in the air from summer 2016 with two Airbus A320 aircraft in the fleet, Small Planet Airlines Germany will be operating 10 aircraft in this summer's schedule, including two A321 and eight A320 aircraft on German registration.
The carrier will be operating flights on seasonal contracts with a growing number of German tour operators including DER Touristik, Condor, Tui, Thomas Cook and FTI as well as occasional flights for other operators such as Alltours, Schauinsland-Reisen and Aida Cruises.
Eight Airbus A321 aircraft will be based at five German airports, while Amsterdam and Hurghada each will have one Airbus A321 aircraft allocated during the summer schedule.
In the summer 2017 program, the carrier operated four aircraft, planning to grow the fleet to "at least" six Airbus A320 Family aircraft from Summer 2018 - but these expectations were thus markedly over-fulfilled.
