Feb 27, 2018 (newstodate): Ukraine International Airlines is planning for a major expansion of its route network over the coming few years.
At a press conference in Kiev, the carrier's Chairman of the IAU Supervisory Board Aron Mayberg detailed a range of new destinations to be added from this year already.
Already in 2018, the carrier will launch flights to Copenhagen, Vinnitsa, Cairo, Delhi, Toronto and Sanya.
In 2019, the carrier will add flights to Nikolaev, Hamburg, Lisbon, Naples, Oslo, Gomel, Ashgabat, Tashkent, Shanghai, and Izmir.
Next, flights to Uzhgorod, Dublin, Manchester, Bologna, Gdansk, Bishkek, Kuwait, Miami, Guangzhou will commence in 2020, and finally in 2021 UIA will launch flights to new routes to Zagreb, Varna, Tallinn, and Seoul, followed by opening flights in 2022 to Belgrade, Bratislava, Beirut, Shiraz, Addis Ababa, and Chicago.
