Feb 13, 2018 (newstodate): Estonia's Tallinn Airport came off to a slow start in cargo in 2018.
In January 2018, the airport's total cargo volumes were down 17.6 percent on last year, to only 926 tonnes.
Totals included 747 tones of cargo, which was down 21 percent y-o-y, and 180 tonnes of mail - same as in January 2017.
On the air cargo side, both exports and imports were down by 30.2 and 13.6 percent, respectively.
Import mail volumes were alone in showing positive growth at 61.1 percent, y-o-y, to 96 tonnes.
