Feb 05, 2018 (newstodate): Vilnius, in Lithuania, will add a new Middle East destination from the next winter schedule 2018-19.
Starting from October 2018, Ryanair will offer year-round flights between Vilnius and Amman in Jordan, offering two weekly rotations on the route.
The new route is one of a bundle of new Ryanair flights to Jordan, also including a route from March 2018 to Paphos on Cyprus as well as 10 new routes from October to Bologna, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Krakow, Milan Bergamo, Prague and Warsaw Modlin.
Amman was earlier on the route map of the Latvian carrier airBaltic that launched flights from June 1, 2010, between Riga in Latvia to Amman as a seasonal route that was later suspended again.
