Feb 05, 2018 (newstodate): Denmark's Copenhagen Airport ranks #10 on OAG's list of airport punctuality 2017 in the group of airports with 10-20 mio departing seats.
The Top 20 airports in the large airports category on average ensured that 82.4 percent of arriving and departing flights operated under 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival and departure times in 2017.
Copenhagen Airport achieved a score at 82.25 percent as Europe's #3 on the list, behind Athens and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
Copenhagen Airport thus beat Helsinki Airport, #14 with 80.97, and Oslo Airport, #16 with with an 80.66 percent score, while Stockholm Airport as the only Scandinavian capital airport did not make it to the Top-20 list at all.
Among airlines listed on the latest OAG rating, Latvia's airBaltic takes the top spot in the OTP rankings in Europe in 2017 with the highest OTP of any airline at 90.01 percent, outperforming Finnair, #8 with 81.77 and SAS, #9 with 80.90 percent punctuality.
