Feb 27, 2018 (newstodate): A new carrier is readying for start of operations in Sweden.
To be based at Orebro Airport, Sweaflyg Scandinavia will start out modestly with one SAAB 340 aircraft aiming at the charter and ACMI markets and initially offering flights to destinations in Northern Europe.
Currently recruiting cabin crew members, the carrier will be operating on an AOC by a European airline, pending an own Swedish AOC.
Driving the process is Jimmy Nilsson who has earlier experience since 2003 from other Swedish airlines including SWE Fly, Kalmarplanet, Hoga Kusten Flyg and NextJet.
