Feb 20, 2018 (newstodate): Sticking to its plans, Finland's new cargo center, ASR Cargo Center will start handling of cargo at Helsinki Airport from February 26, 2018.
A partnership between Aviator Finland and ASR Cargo Center, the new facility is located at the Finavia-owned premises of the ex-Finnair Cargo terminal at Helsinki Airport that became vacant after Finnair launched its new COOL Nordic cargo terminal from January 8, 2018.
Working together, the two companies will offer airline customers joint on-airport cargo handling at Helsinki through one-stop ground- and cargo handling service from one counter.
Managing the ASR Cargo Center is Jaakko Mikkonen.
The official opening event will take place at the cargo center on March 1, 2018.
