Feb 15, 2018 (newstodate): The CEIV certification of cargo handling facilities in the Nordic region was first completed by Spirit Air Cargo Handling at Copenhagen Airport by the end of January 2018.
But there is more to come..
The SAS Group's cargo handling subsidiary is also deep into the certification process at Oslo Airport and Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Earlier, SAS Cargo planned to complete the CEIV certification first at Oslo Airport, with Stockholm and Copenhagen to follow "right after", but this sequence was obviously changed.
Anyhow, the CEIV certification of Spirit Air Cargo Handling at Oslo and Stockholm is probably to be next in line in the Nordic region.
In Finland, Finnair Cargo's new COOL Nordic Terminal, opened only by January 8 this year, is also undergoing CEIV certification, and beyond that no other CEIV certification processes are currently active.
Already in December 2017, WFS announced its intentions for CEIV Pharma certification of its cargo facility at Copenhagen Airport, but an application for opening of the process has yet to be filed with IATA.
