Feb 28, 2018 (newstodate): Lithuania's Kaunas Airport came off to a bleak start in cargo volumes in 2018.
A total of 239 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, a drop by 1.12 percent, y-o-y.
In 2017, the airport generated a total of 3,293 tonnes of cargo which was 32 percent up on the preceding year, primarily due to the temporary suspension of operation at the country's capital airport at Vilnius due to runway reconstruction works during the summer period.
