Feb 07, 2018 (newstodate): After another year with a strong performance, the Lithuanian ACMI and charter carrier GetJet Airlines has named a new CEO and Accountable Manager to take the company into a new period of growth.
With effect from February 1, 2018, new GetJet CEO is Darius Viltrakis who has thus succeeded Benas Laurinaitis, serving in the office for two years.
Mr Viltrakis has been with GetJet Airlines since May 2016, last serving as the airline's COO, and prior to that he has been with the Latvian carrier airBaltic during the period January 2007-April 2016, last serving as the carrier's SVP Ground Operations.
Going out now is Benas Laurinaitis who will initially focus on his personally-owned venture established in 2005, the aircraft brokering company Aeroservisas while keeping an eye open for other aviation-related opportunities.
