Feb 14, 2018 (newstodate): Iran Air has announced plans for opening a spree of new routes to European destinations in 2018.
Starting from March 31, 2018, Iran Air will operate a weekly flight on a route between Tehran and Budapest and from March 27 flights will start between Tehran and Belgrade in Serbia.
Malmo in Sweden will become a new destination with one weekly flight from Tehran, flights to Tbilisi in Georgia will start from March 27, and from March 25, Iran Air will be offering flights from Tehran to St Petersburg, also with one weekly rotation.
Moscow will also reappear on Iran Air's route net with one weekly flight from Tehran to Moscow Vnukovo Airport from March 18, 2018.
