Feb 22, 2018 (newstodate): Boeing is soon to hand over the keys to Icelandair's first Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
The ceremony will be held on February 28, 2018, and the aircraft is expected to land in Keflavik Airport on March 5, 2018, and enter commercial service early in March.
This will be the first of three Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft for Icelandair in 2018 out of the order placed in December 2012 for nine Boeing 737 MAX 8 and seven 737 MAX 9 aircraft.
