Feb 21, 2018 (newstodate): Finnair has announced the opening of flights on a new direct route to Belarus.
Starting from June 9, 2018, the carrier will be offering two weekly year-round rotations connecting Helsinki and Minsk, the capital of Belarus, using Embraer 190 aircraft on the route.
Since June 1, 2011, the Belarus carrier Belavia is already serving the route with three weekly flights with CRJ200 aircraft, with cargo sales entrusted to the Latvian GSA provider, Sky High Agency, that opened an own office at Helsinki Airport concurrent with the opening of the flights by its Belarus airline customer.
