The company offering centralized load control now has a 1,200 sq ft office in Chennai's InfoCity and is is amid a drive to attract applicants for jobs as load control instructors and trainers to meet the requirements of a new major, yet-unnamed, airline customer.
Behind Departure Solutions International is Danish national Ingolf Petersen, been based in India since March 2013 as Novia International Consulting Chief Resident Representative with the task of supporting Bhadra International India Ltd., a leading Indian airport ground handling service provider with services at a number of airports in southern India, to pursue the business opportunities as India's airport handling sector was liberalized.
Prior to that, Mr Petersen worked in the Scandinavian airport handling business for 24 years, serving with the Danish handling provider Novia that was acquired by Aviator in March 2011.
Also with a year-long background in Novia is Stig Thygesen, now Departure Solutions International Board member.
