Dec 14, 2018 (newstodate): Finland's Helsinki Airport is seeing a modest increase in cargo volumes in 2018.
During the first 11 months of this year, a total of 183,036 tonnes of cargo has been handled at the airport, an increase by 2.3 percent, y-o-y.
International cargo accounts for 173,771 tonnes which is an increase by 2.9 percent, while international mail volumes were down 5.2 percent to 7,673 tonnes.
Domestic cargo and mail decreased by 22.3 percent to 1,592 tonnes during January-November 2018.
